EDUCATION

I lead workshops in performance, using the ways I makes work to trigger participants into their own creating cycles. I have worked with emerging performance artists, art students, writers and filmmakers.

I have recently worked with the Troop at Cambridge Junction; Open Exchange at Royal Exchange Manchester; Harvard University; ;Asylum Artists Retreat at JW3; Foundry Artist Development Project at Birmingham REP; Flying Solo Artists at Contact Theatre; The Core Company at The Orchard Project NY and undergraduates and postgraduates at Birkbeck University Leeds University, CSSD and Queen Mary University.

Workshops have included : Making work fast and dirty / Using found and sourced texts/ Comedy and Subversion / Understanding your performance persona.

In July 2017 I co-led a Live Art Development Agency DIY/Buzzcut workshop with Greg Wohead called 'Locating Your Own Audaciousness'.

FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS:

Rachel was a brilliant person to work and learn from. She was so honest and full of integrity and tricks that are entirely transferable.  It was a brilliant fun, productive and empowering day. We were all felt free and creative in about 30 secs.

Rachel created an incredibly safe and playful space. The best workshop I've been to in a while. Feel so inspired!

I've been telling everyone about it. It was properly energising and there was no ego in the room.

If you’re interested in a workshop for your artist group or students, do be in touch.
